Language
Malta has two official languages, maltese (Malti) and English .

Electrical sockets and adapters
In Malta the electrical sockets provide an average voltage of 230 volt/50 hertz, with triangular G-type plugs. We recommend bringing an adapter with you, which can however be found on site. Some accommodation facilities make them available at reception.
Malta airport
Our Malta airport office is located just outside the arrivals terminal.
Upon exiting the arrivals area, simply continue towards the Park East building located to the right of the terminal to reach our offices.
The route is really short, and marked by a pedestrian path that will take you straight into our office on the first level of the covered car park.
Signs of the car rental area will be scattered along the route.
Once the rental procedures have been completed you will find your car to the covered parking located right next to the office.
Things to do in Malta
Valletta
Valletta, the picturesque capital of Malta, is undoubtedly one of the most interesting places on the island. This historic city boasts over 320 monuments in less than half a square kilometre, and its Historic Center has been awarded the prestigious title of UNESCO heritage site. You can explore it comfortably on foot.
At the entrance to the city, pay attention to the limited traffic zone, the CVA.
With its majestic centuries-old walls, ancient architecture and lively cobbled streets still today, Valletta represents a wonderful blend of history and modern life. Named European Capital of Culture in 2018, this spectacular city, founded in the 16th century by the Knights of St. John, is packed with attractions.
You can admire the Three Cities from the evocative panorama offered by the Barrakka Gardens, enjoy a delicious meal in one of the high-class restaurants or be enchanted by the works of Caravaggio in the Cathedral of St. John.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to visit the modern parliament designed by architect Renzo Piano, explore the many churches present and discover the iconic covered market, Is-Suq tal-Belt: built in 1860 under British rule and probably the first building in Malta iron, now splendidly restored.
Medina
The historic capital of Malta is absolutely worth including in your itinerary as it represents an authentic treasure chest of history. The silent city, thus defined, and it is not difficult to understand the reason: an ancient nucleus dating back to 4,000 years ago, nestled between narrow streets and period noble buildings, at an altitude of 190 meters above sea level, in an atmosphere which harmoniously blends the Baroque with the Middle Ages, also becoming the set of many scenes from the famous "Game of Thrones" series.
Three Cities
If you explore Malta, you absolutely cannot leave out the Three Cities, which include Birgu, Senglea and Cospicua. These fortified cities are located opposite Valletta and are clearly visible from Barrakka Gardens. You can visit them independently by taking the ferry that connects them to the capital or by taking part in a guided tour which also includes wine tastings, allowing you to admire enchanting landscapes and taste local products (duration 4 hours).
Among these localities, Birgu is the oldest. Also known as Vittoriosa, it was built in the Middle Ages, while Senglea and Cospicua were founded between the 16th and 17th centuries by the Knights Hospitaller. All three cities are fortified and in Birgu you can explore Fort St. Angelo, which offers spectacular views of Valletta. The ideal would be to dedicate an entire day to this area, immersing yourself in its rich history and culture!
Gozo and Comino
Gozo is one of the main islands that make up the Malta archipelago, located to the north-west of its sister island, Malta. It is a bay of crystal clear, turquoise water, surrounded by rocky cliffs and white sand. The shallow, calm waters make it perfect for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing in the sun.
