Yes, you just need a VAT registration number in order to activate a business agreement with Sicily by Car.

4. What is a promotional code?
A promotional code is a coupon issued by the commercial department ( to organizations/associations that provides a discount to the normal rates. You will get an alphanumeric code that must be entered in our homepage ( or, in the reservation section, in order to get the discount.

We offer a wide range of car models split in different car groups, with diesel and gasoline engines, manual or automatic transmission. 9 seats minivan are available as well.

Yes, you will get a 10% discount (taxes, VAT and extras excluded).

9. What payment methods are accepted by Sicily By Car?
You can pay directly at our office desk with traditional credit card or debit card assigned to the driver. You can also prepay your rental on our website (in any case the credit card is mandatory at the pick-up location). We do not accept cash or cheques.

10. Can I rent a car for more than 29 days?
You can rent a car up to 90 days with our monthly rates or alternatively you can choose the long-.term option (from 12 months onwards). Check our web site for all the different solutions: or

11. Has the rental a mileage limit?
For rentals up to 29 days unlimited mileage is included. For monthly rentals the mileage is limited to 3,500 Km per month. Each extra km will be charged with a variable cost based on the car group.

Yes, it is possible by filling out the form to ask for a quote in the reserved section "Long Term Rental" in our home page.

13. I've lost my password. How can I recover them?

Customer service area

1. When will the cautionary deposit be released on my credit card?
The deposit will be released after 10 working days if you return the vehicle with full tank and in perfect conditions.

2. I got a fine during my rental period. What do I have to do?
Pay immediately the fine to avoid any handling and postal fee charge when the fine is notified by the Authority to our Company as unpaid.

3. I have received your communication relating a missing fine/toll payment notified to your Company but I have already paid it. What do I have to do?
Please contact the Authority who issued the fine directly advising it about your payment.

4. What is the handling and postal fee for a fine/toll?
This is a charge to cover the administrative expenses to communicate to the Authority your data in order to notify the fine/toll under your name to your address.

5. I have not received the fine/toll from the Authority yet. How can I pay it?
Please wait for the Authority's fine/toll notification under your name with the payment instructions or contact the Authority directly.

6. Can I obtain the rental invoice by email?
Yes, please leave your email address when you sign your rental agreement.

7. I need to rent a vehicle for work. Can I receive the rental invoice under my Company's name?
Yes, please provide the Vat number and your e-mail address when you sign the rental agreement.

8. Will I be charged if I bring the vehicle after the scheduled drop off time?
Please, be informed that there is a grace time of 59 minute from the pick-up time. If you return the vehicle later than your grace time you will be charged for one extra rental day. For any further detail, please check our terms and conditions.

Reservation area

1. Which documents do I need in order to rent a car?
Driver must have a valid driving permit, credit card and identity card or passport.

2. May I choose a specific car model?
We do not guarantee specific car models, we only confirm car categories.

3. What happens if my flight is delayed?
If the customer provided correct flight info and mobile number when booking the car, the rental desk shall check the flight and keep the car for the customer. If the customer reaches the desk after regular opening hours, out of hour fees apply. If flight info and mobile number were not provided and the customer does not contact the desk to inform about delay, the car shall be considered free after two hours.

4. When is the deposit returned?
If the car is returned without any damages, the deposit is released immediately upon closing the rental agreement. However, the amount will actually be available again depending on the company that issued the credit card.

5. Can I extend the rental?
Any extension request must be done directly to the pick-up location, that will eventually confirm and inform the customer about the cost of extra days.

6. Can I bring my pet with me?
Animal are not allowed on our cars.

7. What should I do if I receive a traffic fine?
If the customer receives a traffic fine during his rental and pays for it, he must leave copy of the payment receipt at the desk when returning the car.
